‘i vote for art’ Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy is straightforward and based a fairly simple philosophy: We don’t do anything shifty.

- We consider it an honour when you provide us with your personal details. As such, we’ll never rent, sell or share your information with anyone else. Or use it for dodgy purposes.

- If you opt in, we will send you a copy of our newsletters by email. We may also use your email to keep you updated with the status of your orders, and that sort of thing. But not too often.

- When you signup (that is, register) for ‘I vote for art’, we ask for your name, email address and some other information. Most of it is optional. And you can edit it at aany time by going the ‘account’ page after you have logged in.

- You don’t need to be registered to view the artwork and reviews, and vote for artwork. But you do need to signed up and logged in to do certain things, such as post comments or mark artwork as favourites.

- When it comes to posting artwork reviews, remember that your username and comments will be publicly displayed ... so don’t write anything that you wouldn’t want your mother to see.

- We do use cookies on your computer to record your voting information and some other session information. We also track our web statistics to gauge how many people are visiting ivoteforart.com. Nothing out of the ordinary.

- All of your credit card details are handled by Paypal, so we don’t record this information, and we never have access to it.

This Privacy Policy was created on April 27th, 2008, and may be updated from time to time. If you have any questions about it, feel free to contact us:
